"I am 54 years old and first meet Jarad 10 years ago when my back was plaguing me from and old injury. I started personal training with Jarad and after the first month of working out at the gym and stretching, my back started to improve dramatically. Prior to that I was always too scared to exercise as it always seemed to me the slightest movement the wrong way or lifting anything was going to make my back worse. It was, in fact, the opposite. I learned that if I strengthened my core, it was going to strengthen my back.

"I first started at Jarads gym with the sole purpose of regaining some strength and core stability after giving birth to identical twin girls in 2006. During 2011 my focus changed at the gym when I learnt that I had been given the opportunity to compete in the 2011 Hawaiian Ironman World Championship Triathlon. This involved swimming 3.8km, cycling 180km and running 42km.
Jarad was able to at tailor my gym program specifically to work on building muscle strength, reducing body fat, and increasing core stability in order to get through an endurance event of this size. The gym program was a new approach for me and was a key factor in remaining injury free during a very intense 12 week programme.
The hard work paid off. On October 8th 2011, with my husband and daughters at the finish line, and being 6 years older than when I last competed in an Ironman event, I finished the Hawaiian Ironman in a time of 10 hours 18 minutes – taking 11 minutes of my previously best time and finishing 7th in the 35-39 year age group. The support from family and friends, hard work, dedication and motivation to succeed had allowed me to reach beyond my goal of just finishing."Dayna Davidson

"After selling our business of 28 years, at age 54, my wife and I declared this to be "our time". I was acutely aware that if we were to "suck the arrow out of life", then our health and fitness would have to be one of our highest priorities.
We decided to join a small, personal gym that would know us by name and not as a number. We were prompted to join Jarads gym in April 2006 after I had undergone knee surgery and experienced very slow rehabilitation through physiotherapy.
Jarad and his team developed a program that very quickly returned the strength to my knee and leg, and then proceeded to work on my weight, general strength and fitness. I am 10kgs lighter and have a fitness level that I haven't known since my footballing days (a long time ago).
